what is the translation from the word "padrinos" to english for a quinceanera invitation?

the right translation is "Godparents" para padrinos, para madrina
"Godmother" para padrino "Godfather".

    padrinos just bassicaly mean that u git the honor of paying for a special item or items for the quincenera and sometimess they can cost u $100's of dollars

    it literally means godparents but ussually in quinceaneras it means they pay for certain things such as the cake, plates, etc. as a gift from them
